BY USING OUR SERVICE, YOU SIGNIFY YOUR ACCEPTANCE TO THESE TERMS OF USE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ANY OF THE TERMS OF USE BELOW, PLEASE DO NOT USE OUR SERVICE. PRIVATE CAR SERVICE PARIS (PCS PARIS) RESERVES THE RIGHT, AT ANY TIME, TO MODIFY, ALTER OR UPDATE THESE TERMS OF USE. YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY SUCH MODIFICATIONS, ALTERATIONS OR UPDATES.
* On Time Guarantee:
At Private Car Service Paris, we are committed to punctuality and exceptional service. In the rare event that we are 20 minutes late, your ride is free, demonstrating our confidence in our timely service. This policy applies under the following conditions:
- Reservation Requirements: Customers must reserve their ride online and at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for this guarantee.
- Coverage Limit: This policy covers the base fare value up to €87, excluding toll fees, tips, and surcharges.
- Exclusions: The guarantee does not apply to delays caused by weather-related issues. Additionally, it excludes force majeure events such as strikes, civil unrest, natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, floods), road closures due to public events or unforeseen incidents, and any other circumstances beyond our control that could impede our ability to provide timely service.
Reservations:
Private Car Service Paris (PCS Paris) does not charge for tolls, parking fees, taxes, holidays, weekends, late nights, or early mornings. We recommend that our clients reserve a car in advance (at no additional charge) to ensure they have a car available at the time of pick-up. We can provide you with a car on short notice by phone or online, subject to availability.
No-Shows:
If you miss your ride or don’t see the driver at the pickup point, call the dispatch office at +33 1 84.88.34.48. If you leave without calling, you’ll be charged the full ride cost. The driver will wait up to 30 minutes for regular pickups and up to 90 minutes for airport pickups before billing you for the full ride cost if there’s no response. Contact the office if you need the driver to wait longer. A “No Show” fee will be charged if you don’t show up at the location or can’t find your driver.
Cancellations
- Standard Cancellation:
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled service time will be refunded in full, minus any credit card processing fees incurred during the transaction.
- Late Cancellation:
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time will incur a 100% charge of the total booking amount. This charge includes any credit card processing fees incurred during the transaction.
- No-shows or cancellations after the driver has been dispatched will also be charged the full amount, including any credit card processing fees.
- Credit Card Fees:
- Any cancellations, whether standard or late, will include the deduction of credit card processing fees that were incurred during the initial payment transaction.
Credit Card Transactions:
Payment is required before the scheduled service time. Clients will receive an invoice in their preferred currency (contact your assistant at Private Car Service Paris or reply to the Invoice email to request a different currency).
Disputes:
For Corporate clients, all charges on the invoice are deemed correct unless an objection is raised within 5 days. Disputes must be supported with vouchers and sent to us. Any disputes after this period will not be refunded.
For Individual accounts, charges must be contested in writing within 15 days of the charge date. Supporting documents should be sent to us. Disputes after this time frame will not be refunded.
Acceptance of the Reservation Voucher confirms the correctness of the booking details. No disputes will be considered once the service begins if errors were not rectified beforehand by the passenger.
Collection Fees:
You agree to pay all fees and expenses related to legal actions taken to collect unpaid payments.
Private Car Service Paris can modify the rate book and any of the services, charges, costs, fees, and expenses at any time without prior notice.
Itemized Invoices:
For Corporate clients with established corporate accounts, Itemized invoices will be issued and sent no later than 24 hours after the booking confirmation.
For Individual accounts and personal profiles, Itemized invoices are sent before the service.
Payment Due Date:
For corporate clients with established corporate accounts, all payments should be received no later than 10 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed upon in the contract. Payments not received within the allowed timeframe shall incur interest charges of 18% annually or 1.5% monthly.
For individual accounts and personal profiles, all payments should be settled after the ride has been completed. For credit card holders, the total charge will be billed to their credit card upon completion of the ride.
Waiting Time:
50 minutes Domestic and International grace period and 90 minutes International grace, is allowed following the indicated arrival time on your booking for airport pickups only. We always monitor your official flight arrival time so you do not need to contact us if your flight is delayed however if your information changes i.e. you are bumped off the flight or you are getting on another plane, you must call our reservation agents immediately at +33 1 84.88.34.48.
For train station pick-ups, train schedules cannot be monitored. Therefore, billing commences after a 25-minute grace period. A 15-minute grace period is provided for all other pick-ups. Waiting time will be billed in 60-minute increments after the grace period.
Stops:
Price per stop varies based on distance and location; please call us to request pricing. Courtesy stops, such as briefly leaving the vehicle to pick up coffee, a newspaper, or mail a letter, do not incur extra charges. However, longer stops or multiple stops will result in additional stop charges. Picking up additional passengers will also incur stop charges.
Airport Meet & Greet:
We provide a free Meet and Greet Airport Service for all customers. The driver will meet you at the flight arrival gate or customs exit with a sign showing your last name, and then assist you to the vehicle location. There is complimentary waiting time for international flights. If your flight is delayed, no need to contact us. But if there are changes like being bumped off the flight or taking another plane, please call our reservation agents at +33 1 84.88.34.48 immediately.
Gratuities and Taxes:
Tipping is optional in France, so there is no need to tip drivers unless you choose to do so. All our rates include all taxes, including VAT.
Baby Seats:
PCSP offers free child seats upon request. We suggest a V-Class Mercedes for your transportation needs. Kindly let us know if you require a baby seat when making your reservation.
LEGAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Company Identification:
For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “PCS PARIS LLC” refers to the legal entity that owns and operates the website “Private Car Service Paris.” All services provided under the brand “Private Car Service Paris” are legally owned and managed by PCS PARIS LLC. Any communication, promotional material, or client interaction conducted under the name “Private Car Service Paris” is officially sanctioned by PCS PARIS LLC.
Private Car Service Paris may substitute the vehicle in case of a breakdown. If Partial Service is provided, the client is responsible and will be charged. The service is not liable for delays due to unsafe road conditions, unforeseen situations, extreme traffic, weather, mechanical problems, accidents, or Acts of God. The client is responsible for any damage or clean-up caused by negligence. Any damages incurred must be paid at the incident or after the service. If unable to charge the credit card, the client agrees to pay within 5 days. The client is financially liable for any damage during the rental period. Fines are the responsibility of the customer, with set amounts for different damages. Additional damages will be assessed by the office.
Private Car Service Paris will not carry passengers beyond the vehicle’s capacity.
Private Car Service Paris is not responsible for lost, stolen, forgotten, or unattended belongings in the vehicle at any time during or after the client’s use.
All vehicles in the Private Car Service Paris Fleet are considered non-smoking. The use of illegal substances is prohibited, as is the consumption of alcohol by minors. Eating in the vehicles is not allowed. Private Car Service Paris reserves the right to terminate the service immediately without a refund if these rules are violated. Violation of these rules by the client or any member of their party may lead to immediate service termination. In such cases, the client will be charged the full service amount with no refund, and additional cleaning fees may apply. The driver may end the trip without a refund if there is blatant misconduct by the client(s). It is illegal to stand through the sunroof of vehicles or in the aisles of buses while the vehicle is in motion.
